Eating

Brennan has not been consistently taking his 48 mL of milk at his feedings. The nurses say that it is completely normal for babies his age, but it is still very upsetting for Mommy and Daddy. He has to take the 48 mL at every feeding for 48 hours before we can talk about bringing him home. Beginning tonight, Mommy is going to stay at the hospital in a mother's room. They have rooms for nursing moms who have babies in the NICU who want to stay at the hospital all the time. This will allow Mommy to be there for 7 of the 8 feedings per day; the NICU is closed during one of the feeding times. We are also going to start bottle feeding for every other feeding. The nurses say that will probably help him to not be so tired when it is time to eat. We will let you know how it goes. Thank you for your prayers!

All the pictures look great. I can't wait for you to get to bring him home and I hope it happens soon. I also pray all goes well for you staying at the hospital with him. I am sure it will be a good comfort for both of you. Love ya!

Good luck with the hospital stay and the feeding, I bet that is going to work out great! Plus, seems you might have a little more time to post pictures for me cause you aren't driving to and from the hospital :) jk :)
