On Wednesday evening, we switched Brennan's eating routine because the nurses said that he was just getting too worn out; he was eating less and less all the time. Since then, he is eating from Mommy at every other feeding. On the others, he is getting his milk through the feeding tube. Once he works up to eating the 48 mL at the feedings from Mommy, then we will start adding other feedings back in instead of using the feeding tube. With the extra resting time from eating in this way, Brennan has taken 32, 33, and 48 mL the last three times he has eaten. Mommy is very excited to see how he does tonight! Hopefully, he will take 48 again.
